Safety and quality is very important to us, and the design of our necklaces reflect that.

All necklaces are made with a "bend away" type clasp. If for some reason your horse was to be caught and tangled by the necklace, the clasp will bend, releasing your horse from the necklace. If the clasp doesn't bend, it WILL break! This is why we don't recommend using them on narrow trails--because you may end up loosing your necklace. Our necklaces are made out of strong, braided cord. It takes a lot to break the cord--that is why we designed the clasp to break. A benefit to the break away clasp is that instead of losing all your beads on the ground, and having to replace your entire necklace, you just have to replace the clasp.

If your clasp does break, we will be happy to replace it for you for $3.00 plus shipping and handling. This covers the cost of the clasp and labor.

All necklaces come with a hair band to attach the necklace to the mane. This prevents the beads from moving around or slipping down when the horse drops it's head.

Our necklaces are made with strong, braided rope, similar to what rope halters are made out of.  We use this so they are strong and easily washable.

Although it does limit our choices in decoration for our rhythm beads, at this time we are using limited amounts of glass beads. Glass beads are beautiful, and they make gorgeous necklaces, but right now we just don't believe glass and horses mix. The regular horse size fits almost any full size horse. If you would like, you may email us a measurement from around the base of the horse's neck and we will do a custom size for  you at no extra cost.
